November begins stronger than late October

Pisces Weekly Fishing Report 10-31 to 11-06-25 Overall Catch Success Rate, All Species Combined 90.77% Billfish Catch Success Rate, Billfish, 53.08%% Dorado 27.69% Tuna 13.08% Wahoo 13,08% Other Species 8.46%

This past week has been incredible! Anglers of all skill levels had fantastic catches, including many trophy fish. The number of fish caught and released was astonishing—sixteen Dorado on one boat, sixteen Yellowfin Tuna weighing from 15 to 100 pounds on another; seven Striped Marlin; and ten Striped Marlin on two others.

The excitement among our groups has been infectious. From early morning casts to afternoon battles, each day offered its own adventures. Whether it was reeling in a big Yellowfin Tuna, multiple Striped Marlin, or enjoying the tranquility of nature, the experience was truly unforgettable. If you’re aiming to improve your skills or just want a fun day on the water, come experience the thrill of fishing with a great group of people. “LADY HOMA,” a 67-foot Bertram, with Captain Lupe, had a solo angler, James Ameri, from California, fishing with them. They decided the San Jaime was the best spot for Tuna and got two nice-sized Yellowfin Tuna weighing 40 and 50 pounds, respectively, and one huge Yellowfin that weighed 172 pounds, all on lures at the San Jaime! After fighting the huge monster, James was ready to head to shore!

Captain ToÑo and Mate Miguel, the skilled team managing the 
“LA CHINGONA 2,” 
a 64-foot Viking, were joined by a group from Houston, Texas. Eddie Huff, Jason Cole, Jason Johnson, Jason Rubenstein, and Keith Thomas brought their expertise to their fishing expedition. They caught and released TEN Striped Marlin that weighed between 60 and 100 pounds at the Los Arcos and the Cerro de Arena, one 25-pound Dorado at the Los Arcos, and one 25-pound Wahoo at the Cerro de Arena, all taken on Ballyhoo.

Captain Roberto Sandez and Mate Salvador Flores on the “VALERIE,” a 35-foot Bertram, had three anglers on board: Valerie Saturday, Chris Rosevear, and Jason Murray, who caught one Skipjack on feathers, two 12-pound Dorado on mackerel, and they caught and released two Striped Marlin that weighed 100 and 120 pounds, all at the Los Arcos Spot.

On the ‘RIPPER,’ a 35-foot Cabo Flybridge, Captain Abel and Mate Ninja welcomed a team of anglers from Pleasanton, California. Aristides Gonzalez, Brent Goff, Gavin Basalone, Jose Delgadillo, and Robert Solari formed a tight-knit team; their shared passion for fishing fostered a strong sense of camaraderie among them. Their teamwork paid off as they reeled in nine Yellowfin Tuna, ranging from 10 to 98.5 pounds, on the Kite 25 miles outside of the Lighthouse.

From Newburgh, Indiana, Ashley Jones, Jessica Miller, Mark Miller, and Paul Rudolph were excited to begin their day fishing with Captain Ray Winkler and Mate Jesus Winkler on the “LA BRISA, a 31-foot Bertram. They caught and released two Striped Marlin in the 110 to 120-pound range on mackerel at the Los Arcos Spot, and four 12 to 18-pound Dorado on bait and lures at the Migrino.

Clay Fritsch, Jeff Uzick, and John Wooldridge were eagerly anticipating their fishing trip on the “BILL COLLECTOR II,” a 35-foot Cabo Flybridge, with Captain Juan Carlos Lopez and Mate Cuate Martinez. They caught sixteen Yellowfin Tuna that weighed from 15 to 100 pounds on bait 33 miles outside of the 200 Spot.

“LA CORONITA,” a 40-foot Cabo Express with Captain Manuel Sr. and Mate Jr. in charge, was able to put their group from Newman, Georgia, consisting of Ansley Kersey, Ben Hughes, Clifton Kersey, Joe De Jesso, Logan Krause, and Taylor Hughes, on seven Striped Marlin that weighed from 110 to 120 pounds. They were caught and released on mackerel at the Cerros de Arena.

“EL CAZADOR” is a 29-foot Black Fin run by Captain Carmelo and Mate Josue for guests Chip Stewart, Eric Guyer, and Kelly Scott from Blanch, North Carolina. They
caught two 30-pound Wahoo on Rapalas at the Los Arcos area.

On the “BILL COLLECTOR II,” a 35-foot Cabo Flybridge, Captain Lopez and Mates Martinez and Super Mario decided to head toward the 180 Spot for tuna. When they were 32 miles from the 180 Spot, they began to find the tuna, and the anglers, Clay Frittsch and Jeff Uzick, caught ten Yellowfin that weighed between 15 and 103 pounds on bait, Kite, and feathers. They also caught two 100 to 120-pound Striped Marlin on mackerel at the Los Arcos.

While Bob Lienert and John Lapinski, from Florence, Massachusetts, chartered the “KARINA,” a  30-foot Bertram, with Captain Bruce at the helm and Jore Velez overseeing the cockpit they helped their anglers catch and release two 90 to 100-pound Striped Marlin on mackerel and sixteen Dorado weighing up to 14 pounds that they caught and released on feathers and bait all at the Los Arcos Spot.

“LA BRISA,”  a 31-foot Bertram, with Captain Ray Winkler and Mate Jesus Winkler, enjoyed the day’s fishing with anglers Angeline Moczygemba, Jason Moczygemba, Jonathan Mutz, Karen Mutz, LeRoy Pawelek, and Melinda Pawelek. Not only did they enjoy the beauty of the Baja coastline, but they were enthusiastic, and they were good anglers. They caught and released two Striped Marlin in the 100 to 120-pound range on mackerel and four Dorado from 20 to 30 pounds on mackerel at the Los Arcos Spot.

Captain Beto Lira and Mates Gerardo and Chuy Romero on the “RUTHLESS,” a 31-foot Bertram, knew just the spot to take their group from Lake Mills, Wisconsin. As soon as they welcomed Brent Johnson, Brian Turtley, Carlos Taracena, and José Ruiz  they took off to the 1150 Spot where the anglers caught and released one 120-pound Striped Marlin on a mackerel, eight Dorado on cuchi, and twenty-eight Yellowfin Tuna weighing between 18 and 75 pounds, on bait and Rapalas, Plus they released a 70 to 80-pound Sailfish, also on mackerel. It was quite an exciting day for everyone on board.

Then, from Lodi, California, Braeden Dillon, Casey Rodacker, Charlie Lippert, Ed Coyne, Jason Meyers, Peter Matlock, and Steve Rodacker chartered the “LADY HOMA,” a 67-foot Bertram with Captain Lupe and Mate Javier whose anglers caught four Yellowfin Tuna that weighed from 16 to 120 pounds on lures outside the Herradura in the TUNA JACKPOT TOURNAMENT 2025!
