PISCES SPORTFISHING — WEEKLY REPORT
December 19–25, 2025
Catch success trips 95.51%, Billfish, 61.80% Dorado, 23.60% Tuna, 44.94% Other Species, 1.12%
The holiday week delivered calm seas, clear skies, and warm water, creating ideal fishing conditions. Water temperatures ranged from 75 to 79°F, with light winds and manageable swells producing a classic Cabo pattern in which early-week Striped Marlin dominated, followed by a wide-open Yellowfin Tuna bite that surged from Sunday through Christmas Eve. Friday through Sunday produced steady Marlin action at El Faro and Los Arcos, with multiple boats posting 5–13 releases per day. Dorado remained scattered but present, with pockets around Los Arcos, the Golden, and Migrino.
By Sunday, the Tuna bite ignited across the offshore lines — at the 95, 130, 150, and 180 — producing consistent counts of 7 to 20 fish per boat, with several standout days of over 30 fish. Christmas Eve delivered the week’s most substantial numbers, with 119 total fish, driven by a strong Tuna run and continued Marlin consistency.
The Pisces fleet took Christmas Day off, enjoying the holiday with family and friends before preparing for the final stretch of December fishing.
