The fishing fleets were at full throttle, with the Pisces Fleet captains and their teams showcasing their expertise and dedication to delivering memorable adventures. Whether chasing marlin, tuna, or shark, each crew committed themselves to the thrill and precision that defines sport fishing in these waters. The camaraderie on board was evident, as anglers shared stories, laughter, and a mutual appreciation for the art of fishing in this breathtaking environment. It goes to show what a good team can do to make one fishing day a memorable experience!

“KNOT WORKIN,” a 35-foot Cabo Flybridge, with Captain Abraham and Mate Cesar, had a solo angler aboard, Joseph Hancock, from Houston, Texas. The crew was pleased to learn that he was an avid angler, so they headed to Herradura, a renowned fishing spot. Joseph’s skills were put to the test when he caught and released a 120-pound Striped Marlin on Ballyhoo, a thrilling experience. He also landed three Yellowfin Tuna weighing up to 25 pounds on bait and feathers, showcasing his versatility. The crew was not surprised when he landed a nice-sized Wahoo weighing 40 pounds on a caballito at the Herradura. Congratulations were given all around for a successful and exciting day of fishing!


On the “RUTHLESS,” a 31-foot Bertram, Captain Beto Lira, and Mate Jesus were doing what they did best–fishing with clients! The weather was great, and the clients were amiable. Ashley Thompson and Garrett Warner, from Houston, Texas, were skilled anglers, so with a bit of coaching, they headed to the 95 Spot, a popular fishing area known for its abundance of Striped Marlin. Here, they caught and released a nice-sized Striped Marlin weighing 160 pounds on a live caballito. When that spot dried up, they headed to the Herradura, another well-known fishing spot, where the Texas couple caught three Dorado weighing up to 20 pounds on a lure and five Yellowfin Tuna on bait. The clients were not only skilled anglers but also determined to catch every fish that took a bait or lure. What a great time it was!

The Askland family from Arizona selected the “LADY HOMA,” a 67-foot Bertram known for its spacious and comfortable design, with the very experienced Captain Lupe Gomez and his Mates to fish, and they chose an excellent Captain and Mates. Captain Lupe, known for his extensive knowledge of the local waters, headed straight to the Herradura, where the Askland Family, Debbie, Gloria, Kyler, Laurie, Marshall, Matthew, Riley, Taylor, and Tom started the day off right when they caught one 16-pound Dorado, two 12-pound Yellowfin Tuna at the Herradura, and a Skipjack on feathers at the 95 Spot.

Captain Julio Castro and Mate Tracy Ann Raul Leal, who manage the “TRACY ANN,” a 31-foot Bertram, had the pleasure of welcoming back anglers David and Jennifer Lewis. The Lewises caught and released three 120-pound Striped Marlin on lures and bait, one 80-pound Sailfish, and a trophy-sized, 78-pound Wahoo on bait, all at the 1150 Spot.

Casey Rollins, Emily Chidester, and Wendy Laughlin from Pinehurst, North Carolina, selected the “LA BRISA,” a 31-foot Bertram, with Captain Ray Winkler and Mate Jesus Winklerin. The Captain ran to the Herradura, where they caught one 15-pound Dorado on a lure and five Yellowfin Tuna on bait. They were pleased to escape the rainy, stormy weather on the East Coast and enjoyed every moment of being in the sunshine of Los Cabos.

The “ANDREA,” a 28-foot Uniflite with Captain Fernando Noyola and Mate Mario Juarez aboard, welcomed Californians Daniel Gonzalez, Edgar Sanchez, Robert Espinoza, and Scott White onto the boat. They ran to the Herradura for what they hoped would be a day full of fishing fun. They caught eight Yellowfin Tuna, weighing up to 14 pounds, on bait. They had so much fun and relaxation that they decided to return soon.

Captain Frank and Mate Super Mario are truly exceptional at running the 28-foot Uniflite, the “ADRIANA.” Their charter this day was Katie Kull and Zackary Perry, who are outstanding anglers, and Captain Frank and Mate Mario appreciated their talents at fishing. The anglers caught and released one 120-pound Striped Marlin, one Dorado, twelve Yellowfin Tuna weighing up to 20 pounds, and one nice-sized, 40-pound Wahoo, all on bait and all 20 miles to the 150 Spot. What a day!

Andrew Edds and George Savin from Colorado chose the “LA BRISA,” a 31-foot Bertram, with Captain Orlando at the Helm and Mate Jesus Winkler managing the cockpit. Their anglers caught and released one 90-pound Striped Marlin on Ballyhoo, one Dorado, and thirteen Yellowfin Tuna up to 20 pounds on bait and feathers at the Herradura.

Captain Beto Lira and Mate Chuy Romero consider the “RUTHLESS,” a 31-foot Bertram, their home away from home, so when they welcomed Bobby Lackey and Jenna Howell from Texas aboard, their greetings were warm and sincere. They drove the Texans to the Herradura, where they caught one 30-pound Wahoo on bait and eight Yellowfin Tuna, up to 20 pounds, on bait and feathers.

Captain Cesar, owner and manager of the “PANGA ANAMAYRA,” a 23-foot panga, had three avid anglers aboard from California – Adam Forchelli, Marc Seguin, and Max Krashy. They caught and released Roosterfish and three 40- to 50-pound Hammerhead Sharks on lisas at the Lighthouse.

The “HORIZON,” an 87-foot Horizon with Captain Dustin and Mates, took their clients from Woodlands, Texas, to the Herradura where Adam Davis, Chris Jones, Corey Krutilek, Craig Utterson, Pamela Krutilek, Randy Jones, Sarah Davis, Sean Flannigan, Tiffany Utterson, and Valerie Flannigan had a great day on the water. They caught a 60-pound Wahoo on bait at Herradura.
The experienced and avid anglers, along with Captain Abel and Mate Ninja on the “RIPPER,” a 35-foot Cabo Flybridge, caught and released three 100-pound Striped Marlin on bait and one 20-pound Dorado on a lure at the Herradura. It was a fun day for guests David Johnston, Hannah Johnston, Matthew Hewitt, and Trevor Marsh, who watched as the anglers fought a fierce battle before releasing these three warrior fish. The beautiful colors of the Dorado as it performed its acrobatics were such exciting entertainment for them.
Solo angler Marshall Cromer from Oakland, California, chose the “MY WAY,” a 48-foot Viking, with Captain Arturo and Crew Daniel and Josue, for his fishing day. Running to the Herradura seemed to be the smart move as he caught a Yellowfin Tuna and a 40-pound Wahoo ona Ballyhoo, making his fishing day a special one!

From Delaware, Ohio, Lincoln and Sharon Cole and Thomas Cole chartered the “LA BRISA,” a 31-foot Bertram run by Captain Ray Winkler and Mate Marcelo, hoping to catch a Marlin. The clients caught and released two 120-pound Striped Marlin on Ballyhoo, two 20-pound Yellowfin Tuna on a bait and a lure, and one 40-pound Wahoo on a Tuna, all at the Herradura.

“RUTHLESS,” a 31-foot Bertram, Captain Beto Lira, and Mate Chuy Romero had their anglers, Andrea Curry, Ryan Dean Woolery, and Sebastian Johnson from Cypress, Texas on board, who caught and released two 120-pound Striped Marlin on cocinero and one Dorado on bait and one Dorado on a lure at the 1150 Spot.

The “VALERIE,” a 35-foot Bertram, with the experienced Captain Rosendo and skilled Mate Chava, took their fun-loving guests from Wyoming, Brad Magers, James Shields, Luke Leijten, Parker Magers, and Ryan Magers to the Herradura where they caught seventeen Yellowfin Tuna up to 22 pounds on bait and feathers and FIVE Silky Shark weighing up to 100 pounds on tuna and lures all at the Herradura! It was a thrilling time…watching the hungry shark go after the tuna was quite a sight! Catching 17 Tuna, one following the other, gave some validity to their warrior status.

On the “CHASIN TAIL,” a 62-foot Viking, with Captain Pepe at the Helm and Mates Ulises, Ramon, and Dulce taking care of the cockpit and watching out for the guests, Michael Ward Mc Donald III, Michael Ward Mc Donald Jr., and Vespa Mc Donald from West Palm Beach, Florida, who wound up catching four Yellowfin Tuna from 20 to 40 pounds on bait 42 miles to the 1150 Spot.

Jason and Tiffany Read from California, fishing with Captain Abel and Mate Ninja on the “RIPPER,” a 35-foot Cabo Flybridge, drew the winning hand when it came to Striped Marlin. They caught and released three 120-pound Striped Marlin on bait at the 1150 and 95 Spots, two 25-pound Dorado on a lure, and bait on the 95 Spot. They realized they had the luck of the draw, but they also knew that without the skill and expertise of the Captain and Mate, that luck would have meant nothing.

“REEL PRIMOS,” a 38-footer with Captain Jose and Mate Manuel, had client, Mr. Gerard Stranch, from Nashville, Tennessee, aboard as their angler fishing 13 miles outside the Old Lighthouse, where he caught two nice-sized Dorado and nine up to 20-pound Yellowfin Tuna on bait and feathers in that same area. It was enough to keep him busy.

“RUTHLESS,” a 31-foot Bertram, run by Captain Beto Lira and Mate Jesus Romero, had their work cut out for them when they greeted Angela Wagner, Anthony Wagner, Copper Wagner, and Juan Patino and welcomed them aboard to travel the 22 miles to the outside of the Lighthouse. There, the anglers caught 18 Yellowfin Tuna along with two nice-sized Dorado on bait and feathers.

Bank Brandon, Hughes Brian, Lief Daniel Goodwin chartered the “KNOT WORKIN,” a 35-foot Cabo Flybridge with Captain Abraham, caught 15 Yellowfin Tuna up to 18 pounds on bait and feathers and one 38-pound Wahoo at the Jaime Bank. I would say they did enough for one day!

Captain Yeto Winkler and Mate running the “BBII,” a 37-foot Viking Billfish 2018, were able to get the fun-loving, Gary and Isabella Mass, Jin Sundaram, Joshua Meyers, Laurie Sundaram, and Noel Duncan from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, nine Yellowfin Tuna on bait at the Herradura.
