The latest Pisces Weekly Fishing Report highlights a successful week for the Pisces Fleet in Los Cabos, with a 90.28% trip success rate. The catch included 37.04% Billfish, 3.708%, Dorado, 1.85% Wahoo, and 11.11%,Tuna. The report also mentions two consecutive weeks of six-species catches. Conditions sound perfect for a productive week of fishing—clear skies, calm seas, and water temps sitting nicely between 70-71°F. The weather was ideal for fishing, with clear skies and calm seas.

The ‘HOT ROD,’ a 42-foot Cabo Flybridge run by Captain Erick Orozco and Mate Hot Rod Jose Ramiro Ramirez, is making some incredible catches. With Erick Orozco leading the charge alongside Jose Ramiro Ramirez, the team delivered success! Landing Two Striped Marlin weighing 100 to 120 pounds is no small feat—what a thrill that must have been, and using cocinero and ballyhoo as bait around Sta. María and Cerro Colorado seem like a strategic choice that paid off.

On the “LA BRISA,” Captain Ray Winkler and Mate Jesus Winkler ran the boat while Hans Becker, Joseph Erpelding, and Kirk Howe scored a great catch and release with a 100-pound Striped Marlin, using ballyhoo as bait at the 1150, and a 39-pound Wahoo, reeled in with a Lure Amarillo at the same spot. They must have enjoyed the action, making the trip from California worthwhile!

Neil Clay from Texas selected the “FRIDAY BANK,” a 66-foot Viking with Captain Alex and Mates Saul and Beto, who took off to the 1150 Spot, where he caught and released Three Striped Marlin weighing 130 pounds on bait and released One Mako Shark weighing 70 pounds also on bait at the same spot. He had a very successful day!

Meanwhile, the “TIBURON,” captained by Rosendo Gomez with Mate Carlos Santos, added to the day’s success with: A 100-pound Striped Marlin, hooked on ballyhoo 3 miles off Chileno and released, and a Wahoo caught using Ballyhoo at the same location by Brea Cooper, Drew Withesell, Jason Cooper, and Kelsey Whitesell from Texas. They had their fair share of excitement on the water that day. It sounds like the crew and the fishermen had an excellent time, and their dedication certainly paid off!

 It was a heavenly day for the Heveners. 

Guests: Frank Hevener, Ulrike Hevener from Warrington, Pennsylvania, chose the“ANDREA,” a 28-foot Uniflite, and Captain Fernando Noyola with Mate Marcelo to take them out Marlin fishing.  They headed to the 1150 Spot, where they caught and released two 110-pound Striped Marlin.  It was a heavenly day for the Heveners.

On a Half-Day on the ‘BILL COLLECTOR II,’ a 35-foot Cabo Flybridge, Captain Lopez and Mate Martinez ran to the Poza Cota with guests Chris Larson, Danny Bloom, Jeff Bloom, Porter Bloom, and Yvonne Bloom. They had a successful day, catching Twelve Red Rock Cod and One Huachinango. It sounds like a solid day on the water, and the variety of catches promises a delicious dinner!

The ‘TIBURON’ crew, featuring Captain Rosendo Gomez and Mate Carlos Santos, appears to have had an eventful fishing trip! Three Grouper and Three Ladyfish were caught using half-chum at Migriño, demonstrating their expertise. Reeling in a 41-pound Yellowtail with a spoon lure at Gaspareño added a fantastic highlight to the day. The crew’s expertise was fully displayed.
Jared Higginbotham, Megan Glass, and Trayson Scheender, visitors from Oregon, had a memorable time aboard. Their experience was a perfect blend of teamwork and skill, evident in their enjoyment and the overall satisfaction of the fishing trip.

The “ANDREA,” a 28-foot Uniflite with Captain Fernando Noyola and Mate Marcelo, caught Two Mako sharks, one weighing 50 pounds, and one weighing 176 pounds.  Both were caught on bait at the Playita.

The “CALIENTE,” a 42-foot Cabo Flybridge, with Captain Jaime Gonzalez at the helm, caught and released Two Striped Marlin weighing 100 to 120 pounds on ballyhoo offshore at the 1150 Bank and one 15-pound Dorado.

“TRACY ANN,” a 31-foot Bertram, with Captain Jr. and Mate Raul Leal, had quite the day! Their guests, Charles and Jessica Flowers, caught and released two 100 to 120-pound Striped Marlin on bait outside Punta Gorda. Those Marlin put up quite a fight, and it must’ve been a thrill.

And “MY WAY,” a 48-foot Viking, with Captain Arturo and Mate Daniel, certainly had their hands full when their anglers, Marshall Crome and Josue Sardinas from Oakland, California, brought in an impressive haul of Grouper—up to 20 pounds—from around the Lisa and Iman Banks.

Both boats had a successful day, showcasing the variety and abundance in Cabo waters. The calm seas and clear skies provided the perfect backdrop for anglers to reel in these impressive catches. Kudos to the crews and anglers for their skill and patience!

Anglers from Park City, Utah: Chad Efnor, Evan Zupo, Gabriella Zupo, John Zupo, Pamela Zupo, Sam Efnor, Steph Efnor went fishing on the “KNOT WORKIN,” a 35-foot Cabo Flybridge with Captain Abraham and Mate Cesar, who headed to the Cerro Colorado. Their catches were all over the place, ranging from Four Sierra to a 15-pound Jack Crevalle to two Skipjack. It made for a fun day, not only for the Captain and mate, but for the guests as well.

“LA CHINGONA 2,” a 64-foot Viking with Captain Antonio and Mates Miguel and Daniel,
took their group, Bailey Moran, Cooper Wills, Curtis Wills, Harper Wills, Jodi Anne Lemos, Josh Moran, Maggie Wills, Michael Richard Lemos, Jr., Ryan Michael Lemos, Taylor  Rosea Lemos, caught and released two 80 to 100-pound Striped Marlin on bait at the Cabrillo Bank.
